A New Jersey non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a form that keeps confidential information secure. It is formed between the person sharing the information and the person learning it. In some situations, both parties will be sharing confidential information. This is known as a bilateral agreement, and effectively restricts both parties from disclosing what the other party shared.

The form secures any type of information, whether it is a business plan, an idea for a company, a secret ingredient in a recipe, or a new tech invention. To add further verification to the contract, the parties can have their signatures notarized, which proves the identities of all signers, and the date the contract was signed.
