North Dakota Limited Power of Attorney Form

A North Dakota limited power of attorney allows an agent to legally prove that a principal has permitted them to carry out specific tasks in their place. For example, if a principal has requested an agent to cash a check for them, both parties would fill out a limited power of attorney to verify their agreement. It holds power until the agent completes the tasks, the document expires, or the principal revokes it.

Filling out multiple limited power of attorney forms is recommended if the tasks are unrelated or have separate deadlines. This process protects the principal from giving the agent too much power for an extended time. Similarly, it keeps the responsibilities organized and clear for the agent.
