Iowa Association of Realtors Residential Lease Agreement

The Iowa Association of Realtors Residential Lease Agreement is a standard contract used by landlords and property owners to rent out properties to one (1) or more tenants. The five (5) page document was constructed with Iowa’s Lease laws in mind and can be used as either a month-to-month contract or a standard one (1) year termed agreement. The contract includes areas to specify move-in costs, security deposit costs, the monthly rental fee, pet rules, and whether parking and storage are included with the lease. The contract does not allow for subleasing, although this can be reversed by the landlord if desired.
