An employee non-disclosure agreement is a form used for preventing newly-hired employees from unlawfully disclosing a company’s trade secrets. Examples include recipes, formulas, business plans, competitive advantages, designs, and much more. The form is one (1) page and contains only the essential conditions in ensuring the company is legally protected from having their secrets stolen. If desired, the company can include more specific conditions that are more specific to their industry or area of practice.

How to Write

Step 1 – Download

Save the NDA in PDF, Word, or RTF.

Step 2 – Read through the Agreement

Both the company and employee should read through the entire contract to ensure they agree to all listed conditions. If they do, they can proceed in completing out the form.

Step 2 – Company Name

Enter the name of the hiring company in the first line at the top of the page.

Step 4 – Signing + Date

Enter the full date (day, month, & year) in which the parties are completing and signing the form. Then, on the bottom left side of the page, have the employee sign their name (electronically or by hand), followed by their full printed name. Finally, on the bottom right side of the page, a representative of the hiring business will need to sign their name and write their full printed name and title. The NDA is now complete. Copies of the form should be provided to all parties and promptly filed away.
