Iowa Sublease Agreement
The Iowa Sublease Agreement is a legally binding document utilized by existing tenants, also known as sublessors, to transfer their rights to occupy and use a rented space (such as a room, apartment, or home) to another tenant, referred to as the sublessee.
The sublessee is then responsible for making regular monthly payments to the sublessor until the original lease agreement’s term expires. This type of arrangement is particularly beneficial for college students away for the summer, individuals moving in with a significant other, or those who need to relocate and cannot afford multiple rental payments.
