The Indiana Sublease Agreement is a contract completed in addition to a lease agreement at a later time, between a sublessor (original tenant), and a sublessee (new tenant to the property). In Indiana, there are no laws referencing subleasing, meaning the tenant is free to do so at their discretion as long as it doesn’t restrict doing so in the original lease. The document is legally binding – if the sublessee doesn’t make payments or breaks another part of the lease, the subtenant can seek retribution in a court of law.
