Minnesota Sublease Agreement
The Minnesota sublease agreement is a document that allows tenants to rent out their leased property to a new tenant, known as a subtenant. Prior to bringing in a new tenant, the original tenant must review the terms of the initial lease agreement. Should the agreement permit subleasing, the tenant can proceed without issues. However, in most instances, the lease requires the landlord’s approval for subleasing. As long as the potential subtenant appears reliable and raises no concerns, the landlord is not legally entitled to unjustifiably obstruct the subleasing process.
