Oregon Month-to-Month Rental Agreement
The Oregon Month-to-Month Rental Agreement is a form that provides landlords with a flexible option of renting out a room, apartment unit, or home to one (1) or more tenants. A variation of a standard yearly lease, the month-to-month contract contains an almost identical set of conditions with the exception that it doesn’t include an area for specifying the end-date of the lease.
Once signed, the agreement will renew automatically at the start of every month upon receiving the tenant’s rent payment. The agreement can potentially go on for years if no party decides to terminate it. If either the landlord or tenant(s) do decide to end the contract, they have to inform the other via a written notice sent at least thirty (30) days prior to the next payment due date.
