Oregon Sublease Agreement

Subleasing provides a tenant with the opportunity to leave a rental dwelling but still maintain their contractual obligation to make monthly rental payments to their landlord. They must, however, ensure they record the terms of any sublease they initiate in a Oregon Sublease Agreement. This contract is created by the tenant together with the party they wish to sublet the property to (an individual referred to as the sublesee). It is therefore not the same as an Oregon Lease Agreement, as a lease agreement only concerns the lease of a property by the landlord directly to the tenant.
