Texas Commercial Lease Agreement

The Texas Commercial Lease Agreement (TAR-2101), is a contract drafted by the Texas Association of Realtors that is used to state the binding conditions that both the landlord and tenant will be required to follow for the duration of the lease. The lease coincides with Texas’ Ch. 93 – this aids both the landlord and business-tenant, as the conditions contained within the lease abide to the statutes enacted to protect them.

Like any legal contract, soliciting the assistance of an attorney or commercial realtor is highly recommended due to the complexity of both the form and the laws surrounding commercial leasing.
