Idaho Minor Child Power of Attorney Form

The Idaho Minor Child Power of Attorney (Delegation of Parental Powers) documents the legal matter of a parent/guardian bestowing decision making powers to another trusted party that they will temporarily entrust the care of their children with. A grandparent or close family friend is usually the party (referred to as the Agent) chosen to fulfill the duty of care, as well as other responsibilities, that come part and parcel with the role of a temporary guardian. The parent/guardian should use the form to specify precisely in which circumstances and in what ways they would like the Agent to step in for them.
