An Idaho minor child power of attorney form authorizes parents to give temporary decision-making authority to a person to care for their children. The appointed individual is usually a relative, close friend, or someone else the parent(s) trust and goes by the name of “agent.” They take on the associated duties and responsibilities as specified in the document. However, they may not breach the terms, meaning they cannot perform unrequested actions or tasks.
