The Minnesota Durable Power of Attorney (POA) is a contract that allows you to outline what your agent can and cannot do on your behalf. The form can be used for assigning powers over anything, so long they are financial-related. Banking matters, investments, and engaging with financial institutions are just a few examples of the tasks you can assign your agent. Given the durability of this type of POA, the agent retains their powers should you succumb to a mental or physical ailment that renders you unable to communicate with those around you.

Looking for a less rigid, binding POA? Try the Minnesota-specific general power of attorney form.
