Arkansas Month-to-Month Lease Agreement
The Arkansas Month-t0-Month Lease (Rental) Agreement is a document that concretes a set of rules and conditions that apply to both the owner of a home (the “landlord”) and those living in the property (the “tenant(s)”). The nature of the month-to-month agreement is that it is short-term, meaning either party can terminate the lease with only thirty (30) days forewarning according to Arkansas’ § 18-17-704. Because the lease has no set end date, it renews at the start of every month until deemed otherwise by one of the parties. The contract is attractive as it gives those looking for a longer vacation or an individual on an extended business trip means of living in their own place without an unnecessarily long lease term.
