New Mexico Roommate Agreement
The New Mexico Roommate Agreement explains what is and isn’t allowed to happen in a shared rental. The document is designed for living situations in which all roommates are on the lease with the landlord – not for the introduction of a new tenant into the property. Because of this, the document is rarely used to take another roommate to court, unless the template is used to construe each roommate’s responsibility in paying utilities, in which the contract can be used for legal purposes so long as all necessary signatures have been recorded on the document.
