Colorado Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form DR-2175)
The Colorado Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney (Form DR-2175) was created by the Colorado Department of Revenue to standardize the process of applying for a Power of Attorney concerning a motor vehicle. As stated in the document, upon filing it, an individual will designate their Agent the legal powers to handle their property and affairs, of which may include “power to pledge, sell, or otherwise dispose of the motor vehicle described below without any advance notice.”
