Maine Revocation of Power of Attorney Form
A Maine Revocation of Power of Attorney (POA) can be used by a Principal who either a) no longer desires to be party to a POA, or b) no longer requires a POA to endure any longer. Once the Principal has made their decision, they can proceed with the revocation by completing this easy-to-complete form. State law does not technically mandate any signing requirements, so it will become effective upon its completion. That being said, it is advisable for the Principal to sign the form before two (2) witnesses and a Notary Public so that all parties can be assured of its legitimacy and the Principal’s genuine intention to revoke it.
