Iowa Real Estate (Property) Power of Attorney Form
The Iowa Real Estate (Property) Power of Attorney establishes an arrangement whereby one party named the Principal will grant authority to another party (their Agent) to act on their behalf to organize their real estate affairs. Iowa’s state laws, specifically § 633B.204, outline the ways this Power of Attorney will present itself. As it is stipulated that the Agent will be authorized to do all of the tasks listed in this provision—except if “the Power of Attorney otherwise provides”—it is important that the Principal includes their own terms if such tasks are not a reflection of their preferences.
