Iowa Revocation of Power of Attorney Form

The Iowa Revocation of Power of Attorney (POA) is a document used to communicate to all relevant parties that the Principal to a POA has decided to terminate it. The Principal can bring about the termination at any time as they are not legally obliged to see a POA through to its end. As § 633B.301 provides, an Agent must stop acting on behalf of the Principal if they “learn of any event that terminates this power of attorney or your authority under this power of attorney.” One such event is the Principal’s revocation of a Power of Attorney.
